Hi! My name is Kaarin. 

This website is called True to Style because my name is hard to spell and True to Style is easier to remember. (Note: my first name is pronounced car-in, like you put a car-in a garage.) 

I work as an editor for the B2B publication, Retail Dive.

My jam: Writing about fashion, retail, and policy in a way that pushes narrative so people realize, "This is important." 

What did you want to be when you grew up?: A writer and a Solid Gold dancer. 

My favorite job: Working as a personal stylist with my business, Closet Caucus, for nearly a decade.
