Hi! My name is Kaarin. 

This website is called True to Style because my name is hard to pronounce and spell. (It's pronounced car-in, as in you put your car-in a garage.) 

This is my jam: writing about retail and fashion in a way that pushes narrative

Past favorite job: Working as a personal stylist with my company, Closet Caucus, for nearly a decade

Current project: Writing an investigative story about the U Street corridor and independent retail in Washington, D.C. 

One crazy thing about me: I got married on the D.C. Metro
